Perspectival Disability - or the 'way we see things' - is more of a 'handicap' than being disabled in more salient ways. The wheel of the traditional 'disabled' symbol has been fused with the human eye to illustrate our 'handicapped' way of seeing things. It is the monopolisation of the idea of disability as illustrated by the traditional symbol that keeps us from considering the even greater significance of our own perspectival disability.
